How is fantasy goalz Handling Suspended MLB Games? (2020)
4 months ago Updated
Due to a shortened MLB season, the official rules regarding suspended games have changed. In the past, suspended MLB games would be moved to another date, and the box scores would be reset. As such, players from those games would be credited with 0 fantasy points on the day, as the box scores were not official.
For the upcoming MLB season, suspended games will be counted by the MLB, and those games will be played with the same box score at a later date. Due to this, users who have rostered players involved in suspended games will now receive any points accrued up until point of game suspension.
For example, should a player hit a home run in the first inning, and the game is suspended in the middle of the third inning, the fantasy points for that home run will be kept when tallying fantasy scoring in the respective contest(s).
Please note, players will not accrue additional points upon the restarted game at a later date.

What are the Rules for UFC Contests?
8 months ago Updated
Fighters are scored on the following categories with corresponding point values:
Significant Strikes = 0.6pts
Takedown = 6pts
Knockdown = 12pts
Significant Strikes are “Distance Strikes” or “Clinch/Ground Strikes” that are considered "Power Strikes" by official scorers.
A knockdown is awarded to a fighter who knocks his/her opponent down due to debilitation for what the official scorers consider a substantial amount of time.
Fighters are also awarded points for when they win the bout, those values are as follows:
1st Round Win = 100pts
2nd Round Win = 75pts
3rd Round Win = 50pts
4th Round Win = 35pts
5th Round Win = 25pts
Decision Win = 20pts
Five of the six fighters in your lineup will be scored with these values and you will have one fighter slotted as MVP, who will score at a 1.5x rate of the above values.
If you have any further questions, please contact our support team here.

What happens if a contest doesn't fill?
10 months ago Updated
Most big contests have guaranteed prizes, meaning they’ll run as planned regardless of if they fill or not. But if a contest’s prize pool is not guaranteed, there are some requirements for it to run with prizes as planned.
If a public contest with a prize pool that isn’t guaranteed doesn't fill all of the open entries, the contest becomes free, the entry fees are refunded, and the contest runs without prizes.
If you're playing in a private contest that doesn't fill, it may still reward prizes if it meets the following criteria:
- Set for five (5) or more total entries spots
- At least 80% of the spots must be filled
- The contest has an entry fee of $25 or less
If your contest meets these requirements, it will pay out prizes. If your private contest does not fill and does not meet these criteria, the contest will run as a free game, and all entry fees are returned to the users' accounts.
What happens when a game is postponed?
10 months ago Updated
Rules for how postponed games are handled in fantasy goalz contests vary depending on the sport and contest type. For football contests, you will receive points for any postponed games that are played no later than the next Wednesday.
For one-day baseball, basketball, hockey, or soccer contests, if the postponed game is played on the same day then you will receive points for your players in those games as normal. If a game is postponed to a later date or canceled for any reason, any players you have selected for that game will receive zero points.
For any basketball, baseball, hockey, or soccer contests that are scheduled to include games from multiple days (such as some playoff contests), you will receive points for any games that are played no later than the day after the last game scheduled as part of the contest.
For Slates involving multiple games, if game cancellations and/or postponements mean there is only one game left in a contest, then the contest will be canceled and all entry fees will be refunded.
A game will be considered to be 'played' on a given day if it begins on that day and is completed no later than 6am ET on the following day. For golf contests, postponed rounds will only count if they are completed before the Wednesday following the start of a tournament.
What happens if a player is traded?
10 months ago Updated
We update player team listings once per day, generally overnight. So on the day a player is traded, they may still be listed under their old team in the draft screen.
Because contests are created up to a week in advance, a traded player may not be available in a contest that includes their new team, but not their old team. Similarly, a traded player may appear in the draft screen but be listed as unavailable for a contest that includes their old team, but not their new team.
What if a player in my lineup has been traded to a new team that’s not in the contest?
If you have a player in your lineup that has been traded to a new team that is not included in that contest, you will receive zero points for that player. However, you can always edit your lineup before the official start of the contest and replace traded players.
What if a player is traded to another team that’s in the same contest?
If a player is traded to a new team that’s included in the same contest as their old team, points will still be awarded for their performance. These points may not be reflected accurately during live scoring, but they will be counted when the contest is settled. In such a case, contest settlement may be delayed in order to ensure accuracy.
How does fantasy goalz deal with doubleheaders?
10 months ago Updated
Only one game of a doubleheader will count for fantasy goalz scoring. The game that counts is specified on the draft page. Typically, it will be the game that starts at the originally scheduled time, not the rescheduled game.
Why Can’t I Cancel My Entry?
1 year ago Updated
Per fantasy goalz Rules, you may not cancel any matched H2H contest, or a full contests within 15 minutes of game start. You also may not cancel any entry into a filled league (3-100 player) with an entry fee of $100 or more.
Additionally, you cannot cancel a contest with an entry fee of $100 or more that has filled at any time, or any contest with an entry fee of $100 or more within 15 minutes of lock, regardless of how full the contest is.
For more rules and guidelines on our self-cancelation functionality, please refer to the Canceling Entries section of our Rules here: https://www.Fantasy goalz.com/rules
If your entry meets these criteria, the ‘Cancel Entry’ option will not appear for these contests.

What is a Slate?
10 months ago Updated
A ‘Slate’ is the schedule of games on which a given fantasy goalz contest is based. For example, the “NFL Sunday 4pm” slate will include fantasy football contests involving the afternoon games on NFL Sunday. The Slate also determines which players are available to be selected for a contest. Only players who have a game during a given Slate will be available for selection. Each Slate generally includes games around the same starting time and typically includes games being played on the same day. However, some Slates may include games taking place over multiple days.
Where can I find the schedule for a Slate?
Each Slate schedule can be viewed from the Lobby in the dropdown below the Slate listings when looking at contests by sport.
What is the most common slate?
Our Main Slate is our most popular Slate and carries the largest variety of contests across all sports.
What games are involved in the Main Slate?
Our Main Slate generally carries all games starting at the prime time slot for each individual sport, and will usually include any games that may start later than prime time.
In general, our Main Slates will start at the following times (note: Main Slate scheduling is subject to change):

How many players can I select from one team?
10 months ago Updated
For most contests involving multiple games, lineups must:
Have all lineup spots filled. Include players from at least three different teams. Cannot include more than four players from any one team. For MLB contests, users may select up to five players from the same team, provided one player is a pitcher.
For single game contests, which have Slates that include only one game, you must pick players from both teams in the game.
What if my head-to-head contest doesn't fill?
1 year ago Updated
For public head-to-head contests with only one entry, we will automatically match you against another fantasy goalz user right before the contest starts. If there isn’t a suitable match, the contest is voided and your entry fee is credited to your account balance.
